*** Upgrade Thursday February 9th, 2012 ***

SpotWalla.com will be upgraded Thursday February 9th, 2012 at 11:00 PM America/Chicago time. This will be a quick upgrade and will not take long at all. Here's what to expect...
  • A New Look!
  • APRS Device Support

A New Look!

I have zero artistic ability as evidenced by SpotWalla.com and kinda got tired of the current color scheme. So I changed colors a bit. Nothing major, but I think it looks better. Not a lot better, but better. :)

APRS Device Support

Over the past few years a number of SpotWalla users have requested APRS device support. Well, now it's here. The Automatic Position/Packet Reporting System (APRS) is a digital communication network built upon the amateur radio network. APRS is used primarily for transmitting position reports and weather data. SpotWalla will use the APRS network to periodically poll APRS devices for position updates.

Other than some minor bug fixes, that's about it. If you have any questions, please send an email to support@spotwalla.com.

Y'all have fun!
